Hi
there!
As a
former art therapist and a person with chronic illness, the making and
painting of my designs brings me much joy and satisfaction. Instead of
explaining my designs to you, I would like to introduce you to some people
who have enjoyed receiving them. Here are some of my favorite letters.

Thank
you Warrior Gifts – Testimonials
"Rita and Bob Whaley have some of the
most beautifully designed items in their online store, and a HUGE heart of
compassion that is evident when you communicate with Rita. The talent that
goes into crafting each of these items – for those who need a special touch
– is represented in each beautiful design. I am partial to the Guardian
Angels – so intricate in detail and such magnificent color, and the “New
Beginnings” butterflies will just take your breath away. Well done, folks!
The best part of the Whaley’s process, however, is the giving spirit they
share with Fisher House by offering a portion of all sales back to the
community that supports our service member’s families. Fisher House provides
free or low-cost lodging to veterans and military families receiving
treatment at military medical facilities. Check the Whaley web site out
today and remember that you’re supporting a great cause as your purchase is
made, separate from the fact that you’ll be receiving some beautiful gifts!"

"Rita,
like many disabled vets, I've been in and out of the hospital for years.
Your joyful, colorful gifts brighten our days and bring encouragement to
those of us who have a long and difficult road ahead. Thank you so much for
your support."

“For
National Day of Service 2009, we reached a wonderful woman in Illinois who
donated 75 beautiful pillows loaded with "healing hugs" and wonderful
designs for our wounded soldiers. The artist, Rita Whaley, was born during
the war in Germany and knows only too well the importance of compassion, and
how far reaching a stranger's love can be!”
